Our Objective

The primary objective of this non-profit organization is to create a format within the rail industry that provides women the opportunity to achieve a broader understanding of the railroad business.

The League of Railway Industry Women is dedicated to providing leadership and support for the personal and professional growth of women at every level in railroading and railway-related business for the benefit of themselves and their employers.

Each member is encouraged to participate and share their knowledge for the growth of the organization and the betterment of the industry as a whole.

Membership

Membership in the League of Railway Industry Women is open to all women employed by railroads or by railway-related business, such as railroad governing agencies or associations, locomotive and railcar builders, railroad and railcar parts and services suppliers, rail shippers, and leasing companies. Annual dues are $30.00.
